Looks like a natural Holding Tank for Rain water, like Hueco Tanks, Rock formation near me. Only has water for a couple weeks after a good rain, natural holding tank, the Apache had a big settlement there in the way back before El Paso was built and they got run out by the Mexicans. Then Americans came and ran out the Mexicans, now it's a State Park and they Charge everyone that comes to look at the Rocks, sounds just like us don't it..... Peace

after a few days of hiking through the area, the sight of this oasis is welcomed indeed. We'd camp for a few days to rest up and replenish out water supplies the hike on to the next destination! Great scene need some trees here
