Description

half-submerged turtle fleeing winter's icy breath all the world is blue _______________________________________________ ...another photo from my alaska file, shot near sawyer's glacier. this one's blowing breath-like cloud formation inspired a haiku, so i scrawled it on the pic... for those of you who are unfamiliar with the haiku, it's a japanese poetic form comprising just 17 syllables arranged in three lines of five, seven, and five syllables respectively. most often the theme of a haiku is nature. i think this may well be the first haiku i've written since high school english class - hope you like it! camera: nikon d3000 locale: near sawyer's glacier, ak postwork: picmonkey, powerpoint link to my last image, 'call of the wild': thumb_2517036.jpg
