another piece diminished without zoom. With all the deep hues you have here, this could be a tough shot to manage; but somehow you managed to make it all work as one. All the hues are part of a whole...Such an array of saturated hues in the shirts and blouses! And your ground textures are scintillating---a study in itself---as is the complex shoreline. And then the water, and then the mountains---it's like they're putting on their best for St. Patrick's day. That luminous green picks the shot right up and makes the background equal in luminosity to the foreground. Brings it forward. Reaches out to us. Very vivid landscape, like music filtered to let so many frequencies, it sings. (I keep thinking of Whitman's "I sing the body electric".) Exciting piece.
