Description
A pastel painting I just finished today. I once made the motif in Watercolor, but gave it away. So I wanted to try this out with Pastel.
This is actually the first more serious work in have done this year. The result ican be discussed, but eventually, I got something done. :-)

Another beautiful day with sun but a bit cooler. Anyway it was wonderful sunshine and the door was open for hours to the garden :) I dont expect any mice trespassing this time of the year.

This works SO well! I am useless at pastels, they get everywhere except on the paper. About mice..I went in the roof with the Aerial man today and we found lots of mouse poo.

I love the result! This looks like the sort of place I'd like to spend an afternoon, or a week. The boats are begging to be used on that small lake. What a great place, and the pastels give it a nicely soft mood.

I would like to be there, Helle:) It is a wonderful atmosphere and there is so much tranquility around! Seems a very calm end of the afternoon...And is fantastic the way you use pastels!! I love the several green colours and the flowers showing between the herbs ..very beautiful and great softness in your painting. Congratulations dear Helle. I do really love this!

This is lovely, Helle. I just love the smoothness of the pastel, and I fell in love with those trees standing in a row at 'the end' of this very pretty scene. Congratulations, I'm sure your muse is 'more then back again, dear friend. Peace is in your still life, with also dancing trees.
