Tout va bien jusqu’au jour où quelque chose arrive sur Terre... Notre intérêt pour la science-fiction est un prétexte ici pour étudier l'être humain dans un contexte extraordinaire, tout en gardant une approche terre-à-terre. Projet-M s'inspire de la mission Mars-500, une réelle expérience russe où 6 professionnels ont été sélectionnés avec soin et enfermés pendant 520 jours pour simuler un voyage vers Mars.
