Thank you for visiting my home page! My real name in John Daniels and I am a software developer that has been playing with digital art for about 5 years now. A family member (grafikeer) got me interested in working with 3D models and that was the end of my free time.
It has taken some time to get a handle on the tools, but I feel I am starting to get hang of it. The next step is to dig into the actual modeling aspect. I have a background in Architectual Drafting and working with 3D modeling for structures etc which I plan to leverage in the creation of my own props, clothing and textures.
The DS Meta data packs that I sell are the result of countless hours of learning and playing with my own content to fully understand how the metadata works and how to create is efficiently. I have over 5500 products in my own runtime that now has Smart Content Meta Data. I have been putting together packs that I think make sense and selling them here in the Renderosity Market Place. I picked up ZBrush and I am working on learning how to use it so that I can start creating my own content to publish, I have many ideas, but it will take some time to master the tools needed to bring those ideas to life...

JD, love the presentation and great textures. I do have a question, are you using a deep shadow mask or ray tracing? The shadows seem a little grainy to me. The dsm will do that much more readily than a ray trace. Just an observation. I was also going to mention women who pack light for a short trip but then I realized, she only has FOUR bags (LOL).

Great render. I suppose that you can adjust the number of occlusion beam in order to avoid the greany shadow

Hey Dave & Julien. Actually, the shadows are Ray-Traced, not Shadow Mapped and the grain is the result of multiple lights with different Shadow Bias settings. I was testing the default settings of the DimensionTheory Light Presets, so I have not adjusted anything, I simply added the preset lights and rendered to see what the result would be. I kind'a like the grain in the shadows in this specific image, it seems to provide a little mystery and depth that stronger, more defined shadows would. IMHO Thanks for the feedback as always!

I think the grainy shadows add to the grittiness of the setting...nicely posed and rendered!

We feel well the disciplined spirit of this servicewoman : as she ordered suitcases very precisely ! She must make "things" with perfection...
