Description

The mascot girl for my website, when I manage to update it... I've overfilled my space on geocities and the bandwith limit is too restrictive; if anyone knows a good free web hosting service lemme know. It's supposed to be Alena, but she has brown eyes in real life... the blue's to match the overall antarctic theme. Anyway, this picture's an experiment in a couple of ways; I tried something new with the eyes and hair, but specifically I colored this picture without inking it first. The result is that it came out looking softer and more like a painting. I'm not sure if I like this more or less than the usual, as always your comments are appreciated. Pencil drawing colored in Photoshop 6. Woooo. Enjoy, ~D

It's good, but not as good as your usual work. Maybe all the penciling marks/unclean lines, or maybe the different style. It's not the look I expect to see when I see something from you. Limbs seem a bit unnatural in size and angle. I like the face angle, and keep the blue eyes/red hair.
