Fabulous painting and portraying, Jock. Love the style. I often wonder, when i see your great paintings...what technique you use? Do you look at a photo, and then draw on the canvas, what you see on the photo? And then paint on the drawing? Or do you use Artrage 4 to paint on top of a photo? No matter how it is done, i still love it.

As always, you've turned a photo into a rushing cascade of lines, forms and life. Your blues and grays in the alligator are rushing pulsing energies, and they're set off by your strong whites. Beautiful job on the eyes---the closest one is set off by those beautiful orange segments around it. Your leaves are luminous, just luminous, with such beautiful oranges and yellows running through them. I love the swirls in the water, they're like whirlpools. Some of your shapes and colors, here, are almost pure abstraction...A pulsing, living, eye-popping vision; it's definitely an alligator in water (ala your photo); but it's also a big pulsing tide pool of life. Very powerful stuff, Jocko, once more.
