Description

Baby sitting duties are over for the evening, so I can get on and finish this... No 49... one to go to the big 50.... In the TT motors showroom today we have a Ferrari 612 Scaglietti.. in Rosso Corsa of course. Lorena drew the short straw and not so reluctantly had to pose with the car!! Hope every one is having a good weekend... we battened down for Cyclone Lusi, but so far not as bad as envisioned, which is good!

Very lovely lady and car Martin.. Glad things were not as bad as first thought they might be, I had a market yesterday (outdoors) and another one today at Te Aroha which is indoors at the race course which is good as was suppose to be outdoors in the domain in Te Aroha..

First, I like the girl, I like the car and I like the composition. I would like to make a couple small suggestions. Re-crop the image with more floor below and a bit less on top so it's shape is more in line with a 16:9 ratio. The reflection in the floor should be more of a selling point. Last, the car has two large flat colored areas, the side and the hood. A stronger reflection map would probably help give them a little more life. Have a great weekend and St Patty's Day.

Hi Dave, Thanks for the comments... I'll see what I can do going forward. Some of these car models are what we call "kerbside".. don't have any chassis, drivetrain or engine detail.. and a larger floor reflection tends to highlight that short coming, but with a high or low angle and hint of reflection, you can pull off the effect and hide the lack of detail.
