Description

Not happy with this one, but lacking time and motivation to come up with something interesting. This one is a bit flat/dull which is why i threw the glow on the end of sword to try to lighten it up. Failed big time. Kind of looks like a late 80s D&D cover. Critical comments and suggestions are very much appreciated.

Well You find it a bit flat/dull .. I find it most excellent work.. You did a great job on the blue light/glow. :) The image make me wonder what happend with those dead people LOL

80's DD!!! Ioved Dragon's Lair... it was a wonderful era .. Pat Bennitar, Rod Sterling, Police, The very first music video's, Video arcades.. oh yea. "Sweet Dreams are made of these...."

You are probably being a bit hard on yourself. The understated lighting on the two primary characters is really quite dungeon-like. And add the blue light from the sword and it's glow and you have a very nice image. Plus the texture work is wonderful. I for one like it.

I think it really is a good scene, the only thing that could be marginally improved is the lighting. While this lighting is absolutley appropriate for the dungeon scene. I feel its not quite dramatic enough. I would possibly consider adding a hard yellow light off to the viewers right slightly behind the characters to add a highlight to the skeleton and to the main characters front. Anyways just my 2 cents really nice work!
