Oui ! J'adore aussi cette scène de l'Odyssée ! Un guide en Sicile m'a raconté que le mythe des cyclopes venait des ossements de petits éléphants dégénérés retrouvés en Sicile. Ceux-ci étaient arrivés en Sicile bien avant l'être humain et se sont reproduits entre eux et se sont éteints. Les humains qui ont retrouvé ces ossements ont eu peur et ont trouvé une explication avec des géants cyclopes ! En tous cas, il existe un musée qui abrite ces ossements à Catania ou Syracusa
