Firelight.. (This for the Ukranian people against, not the Russians, but the new "Zar", Putin) (continued) In the next hours the rangers worked hard to prepare the defence against the khargs.. Merrick: ..Hey, it was not my idea but Amthar's to place me here..my job is to protect our elite archer.. Marsharpiel: Who's going to defend you?.. Iphis: Don't worry - I defend your both! I know to handle both the bow as well as any kind of weapon I can get my hands on..I grew up with weapons..and remember the khargs are both nearsighted as well as stupid.. Merrick: Very calming, so I shouldn't be nervous at all?.. Iphis: Hm, changes nothing,right? We do as planned, we have a set up and if everybody do as we agreed on, so.. Merrick: You are very confident, Iphis..if you finally get seated on the throne of Korr, I will be pleased to know, I participated.. Marsharpiel: ..But maybe the two gents, Ghoradakh and Rhanagaz* are more reluctant, after your suggestion Iphis, using their clothes to make a "strong track" up and down the fiery lane to "focus" the smelling senses" of the khargs.. Merrick: ..Never thought lacking of water and bathing could be a "secret weapon"*. . Iphis: (thinking) Why is fighting easier than..I won't let you go, Nightshade!.. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Todays chapter, thanks for commenting. I thought a little about mentioning the crisis, not just at Crimea but at the whole Eastern border to Russia. Putin actually looks at lot like one of my story's big scoundrels, The royal Council's secretary Alarik both in outlook and coldness with the expressionless face. Trying to create HIS own empire. ..
