Description
The first day of spring and we were greeted with 14 more inches of snow. This poor old owl was knocked down by the storm. Some neighbors an I rescued him and off to the bird sanctuary it went. Hopefully it will make it.

Wonderful image, despite the snow and then a hurt owl. Hope it will be ok too. (*your image would make a great image on a calendar) Applause! +5 from doarte's MADHOUSE

Oh my, poor little guy. No doubt some despicable Raven knocked him out into the cold. (you know I'm going to find a way to fit this in my story some how). Anyway, I hope the little guy finds a warm place, he looks so miserable.

I work with a local rehab center for raptors and fo0lks might be surprised to know how tough some critters have it to survive winter, certainly very cold and difficult winters. You saving this owl for the care at the sanctuary is a fine act and brings a large smile to my face.
