This must have been very painful, I guess. I knew in the past, and perhaps in the present too (?), there were monks suspect that through self-flagellation, they will earn the key to heaven. This old guy, well, he has the key, but ..... where it ends, huh? Thank you very much for your attention, and please don't hurt yourself, that's really not necessary.

nice shot Sometimes torture enhances serotonin levels in the brain, causing hallucinations. High serotonin levels such as those stimulated by drugs like LDS, but also torture and fast, have hallucinogenic effects. No doubt that by flogging themselves some monks could have had visions!
