Description

It was a great day for a hike in the woods of New Hampshire - not too hot, not too cold - just perfect. Not many hikers came here to this lonely, yet austere woodland because of the stories about about the strange, unexplained, unnatural mists and lights that seem to come from nowhere quite suddenly sometimes. But, I was never one of those types who put stock in fantasy stories about aliens and faeries.and goblins. Not ... until, that is ... THIS particular day. The day I met her. She appeared from out of nowhere. I did not know her. But she was beautiful. She might be from another world or even another plane. I didn't know, nor did I care. I could not resist her soft, captivating invitation and found myself following regardless, and ... I will NEVER forget .... This little doll is Karma. She is a G6 base girl by Silver found over at DAZ3D. If any of you ever want to know how to use Genesis or Genesis 2 in Poser, It is really easy. It seems really confusing at first but it is actually very easy. You just unzip everything below that STUPID "content" folder - that Poser doesn't use - into your runtime of choice, and install the DSON for Poser into your Poser runtime. That's it. Was playing with a few new things and experimenting with lighting. This scene was done on my new i7 Toshiba. WOW it's fast! Renders scenes like this in seconds! It has an NVIDIA M770 (I think that's what it is) video chip. I wanted this because this will allow me to render images using Octane. I did get Octane as well and have been playing with it but have not yet reach the level that has made it possible to product upload worthy renders. Baby steps. :-)

Now she doesn't look like a Grey or a Reptilian and doesn't have wings so she isn't a Alien or Faerie SOOO where is this forest again?? Lovely scene and lady Mike, sounds like you have a racing machine now for doing your renders on. I have A Toshiba i7 had it for a while and renders fast as, when compared to my old desktop unit and the Compaq crappy lappy I had before. You should get much enjoyment from your new Toshiba.

I'd follow her in a heartbeat..... This is a gorgeous work, Mike! You're obviously getting along very well with the new Toshiba! This is truly outstanding - the light and atmosphere are lovely! I need to play more with G2F - truly a vast improvement over the original Genesis. Haven't had much luck with Octane myself. I've not tried it on the new system yet, though..
