Ana, this is so wonderful! Full of joy and light, and brimming over with laughter. I can hear the band too, playing something lively and joyful. A beautiful image of heart and soul, for Mark. I can't think of anything more perfect, both in image and words. Happy Birthday, Mark! I'm one of those peeping over the sign, or hopping up and down behind, saying' "Me too!" A joyful, wonderful year to you!

SMILE! I wonder about these little critters on top of that sign, they look happy there is no doubt, but, well, as long as I can see their hands, I wonder what the second one, from the left, is hiding :) Wonderful delightful, Ana, such a beautiful and happy view, I'm sure Mark will have to smile, too. I hope you are well and in a good place, Ana, lots of good thoughts and wishes to you! And of course, Happy birthday dear Mark, may the next 70 years bring many more of these birthday drawings, and lots of health and happiness too :)

Oh this is delightful, Ana, thank you so much. I love your cartooning and fun drawings, you do them superbly. I'm glad Lucinda is among the viewers (although you may have to give one of them glasses, lol), I'm glad she could get up in the sky, along with the others. And lol, Martin---about the one viewer whose hands aren't visible: Maybe she's about to throw a cake at me (it's been 40 years since someone hit me in the face with a pie or cake, just like in those old silent movies). Martin spoke of "the next 70 years": Well, I'd be very happy if I made it that far! (Thank you Martin.) I love how you suspend these delightful characters in your deep blue skies, and you have a quiet "skyline" down there---trees and maybe buildings---very faint and beautiful. And it's like this young woman---she's carrying her sign across the sky so everyone can see it. It's wonderful Ana! And thank you for your wonderful words, as always. You're a precious jewel, and thank you for coming back here for me---it's very special of you! (I also love that the viewers are all in different colors, and you have a flower on the sign-carrier's coat. And a scarf! Lol---that's a fitting addition!) I so appreciate this, it's beautiful. You know, in these cartoons, you draw people who are very young but also ageless: I mean, they're not just "young or children"---they feel like they're adults and children at the same time. Thank you, dear friend, and much love to you as well. This is pure joy...
