Description
I've been a fan of US trucks for many years and my favourite has always been Peterbilt's. The film 'Duel' has a lot to answer for :)
I may have a go at texturing this if I get time.
Thanks for looking..

I'm an 18-wheeler fan from way back. Peterbuilt use to be in Newark, CA and I would drive by their place everyday while I went to college in Hayward during the early '70s. And my last boss use to be a big marketing dude for them until they moved their headquarters to Texas in the late '90s. Peterbuilt and Kenworth (there is a link between the two!) were always my favorites from an artistic point of view first and foremost. Keep up the great work Mike.

Cheers everyone. Dave, Kenworth's come a very close second in my book.

Say don't forget International you can add to the list. I want to tell you I have about 2,000 plus photo's of the big trucks I collect them along with anything else with wheels as you know by now. But The big rigs I can't post as they are not mine but some of the ones I do have would blow your mind. This my friend is a awesome render of a very fine truck the Peterbilt so thanks for posting this. Stan

Thanks Stan, that's a shame as i'd like to see them. Any you do take would be great to see in your gallery. International, Kenworth, Mack, Freightliner.. I love them all.

I would only warn that unless you made it yourself and (softer now! eve if you did) the proportions may not allow you to scale it true to a figure or trailer. Stand one next to wheel. put on sitting in the cab. Make one climb the stairs. You'll see what I mean. Now that folks can scan large objects with set measurement points defined it is had to hand build a prop to compete. My grandson has the die cast greats and the not so greats where the corners are too square or the hubcaps are just wrong. Paccar or Pacific Car is the place to look for Kenworth and Peterbilt. Have you tired Brockway? I always loved their moustache like steel grille guards.
