Such a lovely flowers you show us here, Alan. The purple is looking great with the Primula -yellow behind it. Such a nice compo! Here we call the purple one: Kievitsbloem (Fritillaria meleagris). Here this flowers are very rare, I would really like to sow them in our garden, but I read that you should have peat soil for them. So, maybe it will not grow here. grrrr ;-). You must have very good garden soil in your garden, Alan. We also had orange "Imperial Crowns", Fritillaria imperialis, family of this purple flower, but in no time, all bulbs where gone.
