Very nice work. I have a criticism though. Why is it that when we think of elves, we have to put on those silly ears? For me, the notion of big pointy ears makes these often referred to as noble people look ridiculous. I am reminded of the lesser painters of religious art who, when asked to paint pictures of the 'saints' were unable to distinguish these characters by subtle displays of enlightenment in their features. Rather, they had to whack whopping great rings of golden light around their heads! Can all those who love what the elves represent in mythology join me in throwing out this tawdry, lazy representation and concentrate on capturing something greater in the qualities of their faces? It's a challenge I know - but isn't that what we artists truly want?
