We had a wartime children's calendar with Uncle Joe and children and a Christmas tree on the cover. He was a 'good guy' at that point in time. Great image. Wouldn't trust either of them now ...

Voici retravaillé, les pièces du "nouvel" échiquier... Il y a des types, comme ça, qui parfois, souhaitent redorer le blason, dépoussiérer et redonner de la grandeur à leur pays... La question se pose que ce soit par la force, la ruse, la stratégie, ou la guerre : c'est, in fine, quil convient de compter les morts, pour la patrie. Quelqu'un disait quelque chose comme ceci : il n'est pas de liberté qui ne s'octroie, elle se conquiert... Ce n'est pas faux...Ni marteau !
