Description
Possibly the last image done in Inspire 3D as Aggememnon has rolled onto its back after NINE YEARS of service.
I need to get paid for the current gig (five weeks and no check--we're having "words" this afternoon about that) as I can't determine if the problem is the motherboard or a bad drive.
We'll see if Aggie can be recovered (I do have a full backup), but the end of XP is looming and I need to move to Win 7 on my last two desktops soon.
Doing so also will be the death knell for I3D as it is an Win95/NT-era application that Win 7 does not even recognize (already tried to install it).
I'm currently looking at Houdini Apprentice as a possible replacement as my copy of LW has a bad dongle and I can't afford $1500 to upgrade to LW 11.6.
The Space Dock project was what launched the Bombardment class ships--speifically the Seige Engine capital ship. I wanted to design a dock capable of start to finish assembly line for cap ships.
Most of the parts are originally from DOGA L3, heavily modified by me in I3D Modeler.
The mark 0 is basically the core of the Space Dock variants. I don't have the ships in the image for scale (I can do that in Fireworks and may post that later). Quarters, Workspace, cranes, etc. are WIP (or were before the Aggie crash).

Very cool. It reminds me of that scene from the 70's Star Trek movie when you see the Enterprise for the first time. god, I'm such a geek.

Thx all Update: Motherbord is dead, but considering I built this thing back in 2006, I got quite teh run out of it. I'm now looking into what I can do with my current (unemployed) budget...
