My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Beautiful! I have some neighbours who allow these on the gate post caps, and others who jet wash them. Criminal.

Beautiful chiaroscuro, with lots of bathing dark around those beautiful mossy growths. It almost looks like it's growing in a mushroom cellar, or in a sanctuary somewhere...And in zoom, we really see the red "tentacles," which are beautiful. I like the ground in front too---how it's lit, and the feeling of solidity and complexity. It's another of your very sensitive pieces with deep darks and warm emergent lights; and as something you spotted while visiting Claude? It's perfect, because it has the kind of intensity, texture, and light that he does so well. It could almost be a small animal, resting...

Excellent capture. I see this little community sent up lots of red shoots so everyone would notice.

Subtle, elegant, and lovely; the dramatic lighting really makes it!

Looks like a creepy space monster is attacking.

That is so cool, Tara! It looks like some alien creature just awakening, and about to rise and walk off! Or maybe it's just my overactive imagination! LOL

Lovely shot and great lighting.

Incredible lighting. For some reason, it evokes the movie Alien to me - as if this were some kind of evil alien spore...

What an amazing mystery looking photo, my friend. It could be a scene-shot in a film, which is a bit psychological, full of intrigue, and maybe with just a corpse discovered. You know, I put your photo art on a pedestal, Tara. Especially with regard to capturing a special light, you are a "front runner" for me!
