this is a new tree that was planted in the local park.I do not know what variety it is, but sure has lots of blossoms

I think it's a Chinese Wisteria. They are gorgeous when trimmed and forced into a tree.

Yep, it's a Wisteria, and it has no leaves (yet!) because it blossoms before the leaves grow bigger. I've had a big one of those in my garden, planted about 6 or seven years ago, but last year it got uprooted in a late summer storm and it couldn't be saved. I was very unhappy about that, I loved that tree! It's soo beautiful when it blooms sniff
