Well, Mike had returned the DH.88 Comet from the photo shoot, and Gloria Wellstacked's niece ' Truly' was helping me finish the 3rd MacRobertson racer in time to get them to ShareCG. Suddenly there was a rather rude noise, I looked at Truly, she simply said " not me", looking down the workshop I saw the answer. It was Tailspin, still playing with the Southampton model, which I gave him for his birthday last week, blowing raspberry's to simulate the engines. This is usually accompanied by him rushing around ' whooshing' and ' swooping' but not today. Today it was accompanied by ......Abdul Ali, shaking Abduls hand I asked " what are you doing here"? He replied "I was bored", he went on to explain that having his daughter as head of security was ' cramping his style', bad enough having 437 wives but with his daughter also watching his every move it was becoming impossible to have illicet affairs. Abdul had seen Maxidynes promo shot and hopped on a chartered flight from Bangdahahd to Snotting on the Wold to pay us a visit. Camel racing holds no challenges anymore, Abdul went on to explain, anyone ' better' than Abdul had been ' taken care of ', so he always won. Looking for a new distraction Abdul had hit upon the idea for the MacAbdul Ali Air Race, from Snotting on the Wold to Bangdahahd and back. ( unless Abdul won the outward leg, in which case the race would end there). I pointed out that any ONE of the DH.88s would be priceless on it's own.......Abdul Ali simply bought all three. I could only marvel at such wealth, Bangdahahd although a land locked sand box, sits on a huge reservoir of natural marshmallow, the only one in the world.This allows Abdul to control the global trade and price, so next time you only get 2 small marshmallows in your hot chocolate, don't blame the waitress, blame Abdul. So here we are, the preparations for the race are underway, Abdul will fly one plane, Tailspin will fly another and the third ? Well I'm too busy, besides which, I remember what happened the last time I had a race with Tailspin.So I'm going to have to find somebody to stand in for me, I wonder if Sean Connery is available........
