I hate to see you go. I know what you're going through. Corporations always upgrade their equipment with the assumption that the public would too. They always leave the ones who can't or won't behind. A good example is with the main TV networks too. You us to pick them up with a regular antenna. Now you need a digital receiver. And I've found some places that still sell antennas, but they are useless. It's all a money game. Anyway, this is a fab mood piece, and I'll miss you if you go.

I thought it was just me... I've tried to site mail others back and all it does is refresh the page, no box to type in... and I'm on my back up computer which takes forever to change pages so I don't bother writing back - We live in the world of computers Steve, everything keeps advancing and upgrading.... I just don't think we need V2,V3,V3,V5.... They aught to set it up like genisis to where the props will work with all...

Hope you don't go! I know there are issues with upgrades but sometimes you have to make sure everything is up to date on your computer also, I was having a lot of problems when they did some updates a while back I couldn't even upload art, but after I made sure I had the latest Java, Adobe reader, and all other programs updated I could finally upload art, now that isn't to say I still don't have some minor problems, because I do, like not being able to credit vendors unless I type in there name first, I used to be able to use the scroll list but can't now and once in a while I don't receive notifications. But these are minor and I can work around them. Please try updating your programs and computer before you leave and see if that helps, we will miss you if you go. Wonderful expressive image by the way.

I agree that a lot of these improvements are just unnecessary the site was good the way it was and i hate when people feel they have to make something different just to because they can. That is the problem with most of these companies they make a good product and then a few slelect decide it would work better if it did it like this or had that feature and then the whole thing becomes useless for all for examples ... Windows movie maker...Paint shop Pro... Netscape/Google chrome...the DAZ website and countless other programs. So i feel your frustration my brother... It would be a shame to lose you from the community and hope it does not come to that.

Sometimes I have problems with this site. Mainly because I can hardly cope with all the comments, if the site is running so slow. But as serious as what you are describing is not yet happened to me. However, this site operates with the Window Explorer all bad. I switched to Firefox and now it works fine. I hope you stay. Already too many good artists left this forum, which I very much regret. Zlata's really cute when she's mad ...

I know what you are dealing with since I am also a dial-up user.The "improvements" leave us in the dust.Things work when they want to if I am lucky. I like your work on this disgruntled image.

As long as you can post your images you can stay. Just remind people that your resources are limited. Fans of your work will understand.

hey maybe it's not the site. I can't tell you about dialup but I've been having all kinds of internet issues...because of my provider...they are merging with another huge provider on the other side of the country. u know how ms said no xp support after april whatever...will my xp machines are the only ones giving me no internet issues. windows 7 and 8 omg...internet drop constantly and problems similar to what you describe...x's where the photos should be...I think these companies like all companies have hired the youngest most unexperienced people to try and keep the internet and all the systems/os's etc working and it's just getting more screwed by the day...so I feel your frustration but it has nothing to do with this site for me. anywho I love the angry rag doll imagery...excellent... chills and thrills

Sad to hear mate, but I myself have noticed quite a few "Improvements" lately here that just seem like change for change sake alone. And improvement is a relative term. I've also found that there is a small group that shout down any opposition to these changes once there implemented. If you dare to raise the subject in the forums. Admins are rather aloof to any opinion or feedback except from a small clique of users. I've totally given up trying to impart any opinion or advice about this site whether as a vendor, a customer or artist. It seems that they dropped the community part of the mast head here for a reason.

Yeah, I can appreciate your frustration... everything is being tailored to whizz bang ADSL which is a shame, and not just here. I hope you don't leave Steve, and DO hope you stay!. I'd miss your sense of humour....as much as your art !!

Never had problems, have cable since the beginning, but I understand very well how you feel. It's very frustrating when things who used to work don't work any longer. Very expressive pic

sorry to hear about your frustrations, don't give up....I had this happened before myself a while ago, turned out I upgraded my internet explorer and just deep cleaning my computer, but maybe I don't know what I am talking about in your case, the dial up modem...but hope you get it resolved, because you are great to this community. :)

Zlata is very angry. But please, don't leave rr. Pass on the galleries at your own pace (taking from the comments), even if you do not see everything.

I don't think some people get that there's not much point staying in an art community if you can't communicate or upload work! You're right, no one cares about the folks with dial-up, it's all about the money, and making changes that really are driving folks away. I hate the way our galleries are organized now, each image has that big old ugly box beneath taking up so much room, navigating around is a PIA, and I keep everything updated, my browser, adobe, java, all that. I'm grateful that we have a good internet connection, and options from Dial-up to DSL to Cable to Satellite to FiOS. But I don't think management gets that not everyone has access to all that, or can even afford it. So yeah, a computer in every house, but not necessarily connected, and not necessarily the latest machine on the market. I dunno what the answer is, but if you leave, make sure you let us know where you're going so we can at least join and keep up with your work. You will be hugely missed Steve. Again, you've gotten that facial expression down SO good, Zlata sure is showing her displeasure! Bravo on the art work!

I myself have had massive problems with Rendos site for a very long time, and wrote to Adm and explained the problem, got an answer I could not use for anything, wrote again and have not had an answer yet, it's 3 weeks ago ... .. so I understand your frustration my friend, but what can you do??.........love your image:)*****
