As a boy I wandered field and mountain, desert and ocean, forest and the icy reaches at the top and bottom of our world, and each place I found was another mystery waiting for me to discover. One day I found a silver doorway set into the side of a tall mountain. There were such detailed carvings of moons and planets and stars and all those things beyond our own small planet that I pulled the door open without hesitation, and within was the infinite apeirogon. I traveled the apeirogon on the back of a moonbeam I had rescued from the Land of Shadows. In time, I came to the Crystal Universe, and there I live to this day, writing of all I have seen.

He touched the clock face, wondering where the time had flown to. why was he concerned? his race was considered immortal by 'normal' standards.. for him, time should have no meaning other than the passage of days and nights. but Shadowlings are born to question everything and ask to distraction until they are satisfied. it is just a silly old watch.... Great work

Wow ... nice work with the reflections. There's so much to this, it sort of sneaks up on you. Terrific complexity with the reflections and your superb postwork!

Wow. The bright shiny watch really grabs my eye .. it becomes the focal point of the image .. even Zam is attracted to it, Zam, who really doesn't deal with time .. Zam, who lives in the moment and doesn't usually waste his time thinking too far ahead, or reach too far back. And there it is .. Time .. staring him smack in the face.

Great photo (and my much hated 'but however') the watch reflection seems to be in a double glazed glass, but Zam in a single glazed! Just the distance factor maybe.
