Hi.
Greetings from sunny Auckland, New Zealand.
Firstly, you have found your way here so a BIG thank you for taking the time out to visit my homepage :O)
Though I have been a member of Renderosity for many years.. every day I am discovering new artists and their work.. one of the REAL pleasures of 'being here'. The quality of work on show, and the generosity of fellow artists in helping lesser experienced people like myself makes this a fantastic community to be a part of.
As for myself...now on the wrong side of 50..and work virtualy solely in Poser with some postwork using Adobe.. pretty much standard stuff. I have a science and technology background, and work in industry.. thus an artistic 'bent' is not natural for me, nor is an artistic imagination part of my makeup.., but technically it's passable!!
My primary interest if you haven't guessed is "Pinup" art.. I just adore the female form,.. but love Sci-Fi and fantasy art as well.
Inspiration, apart from what I see here, comes from Music and other great artists too like Roger Dean, Boris Vallejo, Patrick Nagel,Vargas, ArchieDickens, Olivia De Berardinis,Gil Elvgren,Jennifer Janesko to name but a few.
Thanks for your visit, take care
cheers
Martin

Fantastic mate. Rob is going to go crazy over this, not only is it a Harrier but also 1 Squadron too. Shame nobody has made a GR1 with RAF textures. Another excellent series Martin.

WAY back in the shadows of my mind I was taken to RAF Wittering for the first (of many) times.. There, I sat in one of the very first GR1's! For a 12 year old I was totally in heaven.. On that glorious day I went to the control tower, saw the Harrier Sim, and sat in my first ever Spitfire! No 1 Squadron, has always been close to me.. I still know a couple of the pilots and crew.. And then, it got better... I got onto RAF Alconbury and sat in Phantoms and a U2.... Yep.. My childhood was a blast.. Neil has started a Gr3 Harrier I gather.. I'm still waiting LOL Cheers mate.. Made my month! Rob

Great idea, Sir!

You have given this image that 50's or 60's look which works well. The Harrier cockpit looks big enough for the young lady flight attendant to actually serve the pilot his spot of tea. Well done Martin!
tigertim
LOL, yes it does, the later Harriers seem a lot more roomy with a bulbous cockpit lid to enhance the illusion... but based on Photo's, the scale is about right....

Beautiful mate, very cool render and info. Your not alone BTW, I am still being hammered as well. Cold comfort I know but hey, I tried!

I love Harriers... the total package. My second fav would have to be the Warthog. Splendid image!

Beautiful lady and a beautiful plane. Fantastic work.

Wonderful job...it's amusing, I've just made a plane and girl image for a friend but I will not post it 'cause it can be seen as a plagiarism of a Greg Hildebrandt creation.

That promises another "Windy Daze" pic when this bird will take off. Well, nice personal story but, by the way, from where or whom do you inherit your fascination with, and love of these particular "not flying" honey bees ? Yes, those closed to your planes and/or cars. :-D

Excellent render, Martin! Love the Harrier!

It's absolutely fantastic... Wonderfully done!

Wonderful way you incorporated a retro look into a modern day aircraft and scene. Kudos.

A very nice, crisp rendition. I like it - worth a salute!
