Are cats slower than road runners? If so, I understand the coyote! Great capture Jock!

I don't know much about cat breeds, but that one definitely looks interesting.

Would think it was a Manx. The Bengal is supposed to come from a wild cat but would think it was done artificially!!!!

I am not sure either, Jock. Great capture as it appears he was hesitant about being photographed.

Cool cat Jock. I wouldn't like a cat without a tail. My cat (who's sitting at the computer with me right now, likes me to hold her tail whilst she's asleep on my lap. I think it makes Her feel safe for some reason. :)

Cool shot. I don't know, Jock, it just looks like an old garden variety fat house cat to me. ,

Looks like a Manx cat, they have no tail as such and I believe the origin of the breed was the isle of man where the mutation arose, they are a domestic breed and It states they have a nice nature about them but are wary of strangers.

Sometimes a missing tail can be a genetic mutation. In my mother-in-law's neighborhood, there were quite a few tail-less cats .. none of them were manx cats, they were all feral street cats. a cool picture. I don't really know if a bobcat will breed with a domestic either.

It's creepy, what do the people all the animals with their breeding ... I once had a cat with short tail. However, that was amputated because he has pinched him once ... Very nice capture, Jock!
