they leave their cocoon and mate.then they die after two days.they can not even eat having no mouth this one is about 5 1/2 to 6 inches from tip to tip. the torso is about one inch long

Moths can be as beautiful as butterflies... this has wonderful patterns and colours, so many different species. Easy way to tell the difference between a moth and a butterfly is that a butterfly can fold it's wings up, moths do not.
