The shape of the room along with the model were created with Poser. Other 3D items were made with Sketchup. 2D items were taken from photo snippets found on the web. I had to get crafty with the kitchen floor reflection. PhotoShop put the whole thing together and made it work.

A nice house, but keep your attention on the perspective of some ingredients. I mention the small table with the vaze and the ski-painting on the wall. Check your lightsources again, there are impossible shadows in your image (litter bin). I just try to improve your skills. Keep on creating your art.

Boy Raages, you really have an eye for this, your observation is correct, that shadow would have been washed out by the light coming through the glass in the door. The easiest way to deal with it was to just remove it. I changed the proportions of the vase & table, but the wall painting is actually an optical illusion. The presence of the girl seems to change the proportions, but if she is removed, it looks alright. I altered the painting size to neutralize it and make it appear correct. Thanks for your comments!
