I'm not sure what all to say about myself, I live in Ann Arbor, Michigan (USA) and work as a graphic designer/computer technician for a print shop. I have a BS in Historic Preservation, but wasn't willing to go on for a Master's Degree, nor was I interested in teaching, so I found another career. I discovered Bryce way back when version 1 came out, but I didn't really get serious about the program, or 3D art in general, until a few years ago. When I'm not in front of the computer, I'm either making costumes or wearing them to a renaissance festival, or building a new rock-sculpture, or possibly wandering with a camera.
When I'm not making something, odds are I'm reading from my far too wide range of interests: Astronomy, Cosmology, Physics, Archeology, Anthropology, History, Current Events, NASA (of course) and anything else that happens to catch my attention. It's really hard to find enough time to do all of the things I want to be doing! What drew me to Renderosity is the many excellent artists who continue to inspire me to push myself as an artist. More recently I've added a selection of stuff to another online gallery location:http://nefariousdro.deviantart.com/Â

YAY!!!!!!! Ohhhh....just look what I just got a noti about!!!! It's been such a long, hard winter, and especially in your part of the U.S., but finally, one of your balancing acts again! To say I'm delighted by this, and your thoughtfulness, Michael, is a total understatement. Thank you so very much, for another one of your little mysteries, and certainly for thinking of me! I'm so touched. You've made my day, and definitely made me smile! I'm stuck staring at the large boulder in the foreground stack, balanced atop that arched surface at its top. Amazing, per usual! Now, here's comes the traditional part where I start all my sniveling, and tell you just how jealous I am, that I have no rocks of my own, and that all the good ones seem to already live at your house. And now, since the last one of these I'd seen, I've even moved halfway across the country and STILL don't have any. I just might have to remedy that this year. Don't you think it's high time I did? Oh, I'll definitely never be the rock magician you are, but I need to do this, finally. But, can you imagine? I might never see the inside of my house again once I start with these. I love it, Michael! Thank you again, my friend! Stonehenge is alive and well in Michigan! :)

It still amazes me how you manage to balance these stones, Mike! The front structure is incredible - the way the triangular stone is balanced on the smaller stone, then the large stone balanced on the point is beyond belief! You lived on Easter Island in a former life, right?? :-D

Nice work! Especially the one in the middle. I don't know how you have the patience and coordination to do it.

I wouldn't have the patients, I ran out of it just stacking up floppy diskettes!
