Description

"White on Purple" Yesterday, the temperature in Kansas dropped from 76F to 28F. Last night we got an April snow. I guess the young Queen from the movie, "Frozen" must have passed by here. I thought the contrast of the purple Flowering Crabapple tree buds with the white snow and the texture of the bark on trees was nice. Colors even prettier in full size. very beautiful contrasting colors it is suppose to drop here into the low 30's but no snow. the panhandle did get snow however

A beautiful scene if a little chilly. The contrasts are very nice with the purple buds, splashes of dark green evergreen and the wisps of light green from the new leaves starting to peek out on the trees. Fabulous shot!
