Description

Several of us went to the Worley Observatory last night to shoot the eclipse. The wind was blowing 90 mph!, Cloudy and freezing cold! About 11:30 the clouds parted and a beautiful full moon appeared. We set up our equipment and went to work. I shot a photo every 10 minutes till the eclipse was about 40% then went to 1 minute, then 30 seconds apart. We stopped around 3:30 am. Thanks for viewing and more to come. Jody

Well done; In Kenmore, at about 10:00 PDT I had nothing but cotton-candy--not even teh moonlight was making it through. When I was up at 5AM, there were breaks tot eh east, but the Moon was in the west (sigh)...

Worley Idaho? Small world. I happened to read about Worley on Wikipedia (for no real reason) about 15 minutes ago. Wondeful picture, by the way.

We could not see it in Pretoria. I viewed a world map where it could be seen and where not. Amazing capture. God bless.

Great capture. Do you use an equatorial mount for your celestial photography?
