Description

This started out as one of those 'Let's practice some outside lighting' exercises and ended up being a full on remodeling job. I found a free .obj mesh of the Challenger over on one of the 3D sites and decided to have a play around with some outside lighting and get it into a render. However on import into Cinema 4D it triangulated horribly and I ended up re-building the entire mesh from scratch. Quite pleased with the results even though they did take a lot longer than expected... Background is a photo from Thinkstock, everything else is polygons.
