Description

The pond in the botanical gardens at Shore Acres State Park. Would I have thought of taking this photo in this way if I had never seen Monet's "Water Lilies"? I doubt it... Please zoom.

Oh so lovely. I just saw some of Monet's "Waterlilies" at the Beyeler Museum in Reihen, Switzerland. This is a great shot with the Monet flavor. :)

I thought of Monet as well. We're influenced by everything we see, and if you're going to be steered in some direction, Monet is a pretty good influence! :P

A beautiful homage to Monet; I might have tried for a slightly brighter feel, but this is still very lovely!
