As a boy I wandered field and mountain, desert and ocean, forest and the icy reaches at the top and bottom of our world, and each place I found was another mystery waiting for me to discover. One day I found a silver doorway set into the side of a tall mountain. There were such detailed carvings of moons and planets and stars and all those things beyond our own small planet that I pulled the door open without hesitation, and within was the infinite apeirogon. I traveled the apeirogon on the back of a moonbeam I had rescued from the Land of Shadows. In time, I came to the Crystal Universe, and there I live to this day, writing of all I have seen.

Well it is better than broken glass all over the floor (that some artist claimed was art), it is pretty, outstanding capture!

I have mixed feelings about Dale Chihuly. He's been designing the same sort of thing for too long, imho, and he's gotten boring. However, that won't stop me from going to the new exhibit at the Seattle Center to take pictures! I'm looking forward to the challenge of making Chihuly look fresh. We'll see.

Well, it is certainly different. Can't say it's my kind of art. Actually, I thought perhaps you were creating a model for a campfire for your B/W doll photos.
GrandmaT
I thought you had done a mock up of a campfire for the Zam/Zan series, too. Don't see any whales of any variety in it but I may not be squinting enough. It is a nice photo of what ever it is.

Haven't a clue who Chihuly is, looks interesting!!! Haven't got round to stories yet but I know where I am :o) xx

Never heard of Chihuly before and these "whales" look more like semi-inflated. illuminated condoms to me, but your photo is very good :)

I am disappointed in almost everyone for dissing another artist, everyone has a right to create and display their work and be told how wonderful it is! I think I see maybe one whale head among the enlightenment of what appears to be sperm whales by the way, and it is enough to satisfy my curiosity! Thank God I will hopefully never have to view it again! Who is Chihuly anyway, as he may ask, whats a Windigo! Turnabout fair play, I always say! Now the mutant scorpion, that sounds like it has a lot of possibilities!

I'm not dissing his art. I'm dissing the desert it's in. I really don't like deserts. But I do like desserts.

Well, it's sort of different....
