(Sevaril story continued)
Nightshade quickly finds some of the others near one of the nearest fires.
Iphis: You're back!!..
Nightshade: ..Don't know why I was sleping..but I heard you calling me and mentioned khargs!!..
Iphis: I did what!?..I haven't been near the house since..but I've had been thinking of you, me dearest friend! How about your head..I'm...(hesitates)
Nightshade: My head?..Never mind, brief me quickly about the preparations..you all have been busy I see..This flaming lane and poles..How soon do we have the khargs here?..
Iphis: Amthar(*1) said anytime now..
Kitty: Meeeooow!..
While Iphis in a hurry briefes Nightshades with what she knows, Merrick and Marsharpiel speaks lowly together.
Merrick: Very impressive, your ol' man..
Marsharpiel: Don't call him ol' man..
Merrick: ..Your father really looks ready for any kind of action..
Marsharpiel: Don't "father him to me"..(*2)
Merrick: Hum, at times I think I can't say anything correct?..
Marsharpiel: (slightly teasing) No....!
Merrick: ..What do you actually mean?..

This was todays short chapter. Maybe someone recall earlier on, that Iphis knocked Nightshade out when she tried to kiss him while both sitting on the bench? He stumbled down and hit his head.
(x1) Amthar is a blackelven who sees in completely darkness and with ears like an owl.
(x2) Caused by different reasons Marsharpiel has troublesome relations to her father, Nightshade. They just met few years ago without knowing the other existed. It is hard to overcome all the missing years lost. But Nightshades shows respect and tries patiently..
What is an extra complication, are the relations between Nightshade and Iphis. Last one mentioned is both very bright, wise and skilled but also of the same age as Marsharpiel, twenty year..A sort of rival or..

Good to have an extra hand fighting against the Khargs, but will Nightshade be much help if he gets knocked out while kissing ? hopefully he won't have to kiss any Khargs ! LOL Well done & ~Cheers~
