Description

The guy to the woman: "Yes, of course you can fight too, but I think it's better that you and the boy get as far into the tunnel as possible. There will be others there, and it's the safest place you can be..." Armed soldier: "Better take this mask, you never know. See if you can get one for youself also, and then get the heck back in the tunnel..." - The city is under attack by the aggressive alien Myrmylox species. The "cavalry" will come for the rescue, already some soldiers are setting up a bastion in this tunnel, a good place for a base, as well as serving as shelter for the few lucky civilians who have made it there. The invaders have had the upper hand so far. Attempts at bringing their ships and other devices to a halt with EMP focus beams had proven ineffective. Their core technology is organic and information technology is based on bio-computers, that are unaffected by EMP. BUT, besides conventional weapons, that CAN bring an enemy ship down, if aimed correctly at the weak spots, it has been established that focused ultrasound beams can destroy the computers. The only problem with this is that the ultrasound devices have short range, so the attackers have to be lured relativly close, and then destroyed. This has to be coordinated with precision, so that as many as possibble of the enemy ships can be brought down before they realize the threat... Vue render, character setup in DAZ Studio. Thanks for viewing, comments etc. always welcome and appreciated. Have a nice day, Lars

Nice work... --------------------- Btw... Infra-sound has more effective impacts to organic structures... With infrasound you may denaturate proteins... Why did songbirds die near wind power stations? By infra-sound, emittet by the propeller blades ends...

Thanks, and good info about the infrasound, Maybe that'll be the next step in the battle :)

Great concept and models! I think the foreground would look more dramatic if lit slightly from the side and possibly backlit as well. Maybe use a little coloring in the light.

The lighting could easily be more dramatic for the foreground characters, but then you won't see them. The scene could be even more dramatic without the characters, but also less interesting. I worked a lot on the lighting on the foreground, and can safely say it looks the way I want it. It's a sort of "staged"/studio lighting. It may not be the way you want it to look, but then again it's not your picture :)
