Wow! nice job. The only recommendation I would have is to stagger the chairs a bit. They seem pretty uniform. Thats just my humble opinion.

I think this image has a great sense of space. I also think the textures for the stone and foliage are perfect, but the remaining textures don't live up to the beautiful lighting and framing of the image. Are the chair and table bases metal? What material are the table tops and chair seats? They all seem to have uniform properties, and the only thing that distinguishes them from each other is the color. I think if you worked on differentiating the materials in the rest of the scene, this would be a top-notch image. Oh, I also finally noticed what was bugging me about this image: The chairs don't seem to be casting shadows.

That's exctly right, the chairs don't cast any shadows. I played around with it for some time, couldn't get the shadows to look the way I wanted them to. The funny thing is, that the table and chairs are grouped together, and the tables seems to cast shadows....hmmmm. I may play around with this one a little more.

Great atmosphere! Nice atmospherics and textures! About shadows - grouped set or not - doesn't matter, check object properties - shadow casting and receiving (or light's "exclude-include"). Your general light(s) is OK, you can also add one light with included table sets for hard shadows (if it will get look the way you wanted them to}. Very good pic! :)

Beyond any compliments! The combination of light/gloom/contrast makes the composition simply fabulous and very expressive.
