It are "Beauties", Pat. And I like the light which can be seen on the petals. You must have a lovely garden, with a lot of tulips in it. Tara will love your photo!

Thank you so much for taking the trouble to figure out which picture I wanted to see! :) I hope you think your time was as well spent as I do. This really is a fantastic shot. The low point of view is dramatic, the combination of color and scale works beautifully, and the slight tilt of the flowers against the straightness of the background gives the image energy and life. The way you've used your "canvas" space compositionally is outstanding. The peachy tulips in the foreground are a perfect anchor, allowing the yellow to fly and soar, and the smaller blooms to dance. I know the slight graininess of the shot bothers you, but honestly, it doesn't detract at all. This really IS as good as I thought it was!! Thank you!
