Description
In my village, at the end of WW1, sycamore trees were planted along the river bank, one for each of the men killed in that conflict. Most of them are still standing and it's easy to count them ( 70+) due to the eveness of their planting. Here are just a few of them....an imaginative way of commenmoration.
I hope to catch up with comments but my eyes haven't been cooperative....

I enjoy seeing trees planted in a row. near Brownsville ,Texas there are palm trees in a row as far as one can see it was thoughtful of them to remember the fallen soldiers
