Description
According to the Romans, Fauna was the sister or daughter of Faunus and both were Gods. They could sing the fates to others and "being filled with divine spirit, assiduously predicted future events as if in a madness."
The reasons for the visions is still something of speculations as some think that most Seers or Oracles of Roman times were often effected by this ethylene or methane gas. Others suspect that the Castalian Spring was perhaps tainted by a hallucinogenic hydrocarbon. I found this all rather interesting and some of what I learned I tried to bring into my image.
So, here is my own vision of Fauna.
Thank you for Looking!
Hugs!
