Description

I waited and waited for this shot :) My lucky day. I have lots more lion photos, but I'll save them for another time. If you remember, or care to look back in my gallery, the title for this is a play off of "I am Kitty : Hear Me Roar" a photo of my cat Meowzer Kitty Purry. Thanks for stopping by, and big big THANK YOU for the information on the lenses. Now, I am thinking new camera body, and lens later. As Tara was so kind to point out, I should consider the ISO capability of my camera, which is very low compared to the new models. Have a great week! Hugs, ~Melinda~

Their roar is overwhelming and scares me. Saw and heard many of them long time ago when i visited the Kruger National park for the first time. Unfortunately it was before the photography bug bit me. I wonder how many pictures i would capture if i visit the park right now? Superb capture Melinda. God bless.

Well worth waiting for this ultra cool capture of Leo the Lion, Melinda, as he roars his mighty challenge to all, daring them to try confiscating his territory. Actually, if one didn't know otherwise, that might be interpreted as a big yawn. As for my acquiring a new point-and-shoot, other more important things have arisen, so not yet.

It was definitely worth the wait - to get a result like this - WOW !!! I would have done the same thing, one needs a lot of patience for animal or insect pix, well done Melinda, BB
