Firstly let me thank you so much for the enormous support you showed toward my last painting 'Meadow' I was overwhelmed and it made the hours spent creating the painting worth it. You are all amazing, take care, hugs Jane xx
Ok so this painting took from Good Friday to a couple of days ago to finish, and I think the most intricate and challenging part was the fallen tree stump that the young Lynx is using as a scratch post come survey post. So many different colours/hues textures and shapes within it in order to get it looking as real as is possible, but I think I got there in the end. Well I will leave that up to you to decide :D on that one.

The whole painting i.e. the forest, trees, shrubbery and main Lynx and tree stump were created using wacom intuos3 tablet and pen in CS4 extended.

Sis, this is some really amazing art that provided me with a huge smile first thing this morning. I love the playful nature of this image as well as the forest setting it takes place in. Most certainly that fallen tree stump had to be a great challenge as well as the intricate detailing of the Lynx. A visit to you're gallery is something I always look forward to.
