Description
A falcon ( at the bottom ) was attacking.
The dunlins were too many for him and he couldn't choose one to hit. So they were all safe.

I often see very small birds here attacking hawks that got too close to their nest. both are superb photos

yes, that happens sometimes, have seen a buzzard attacking a group of mew and hi catches one! cool done pictures!
