Description

.... To FLY! Saturday was an absolutely gorgeous day, so we took the Phantom out for a little fun. This was at the Shoal Creek Living History Museum, a group of historic buildings typical of a small 19th century community in the midwestern USA. They had a wedding at the church, which was concluding as we arrived. I asked the volunteers at the park if it was OK to fly there, and they said 'go ahead!' This shot was taken from about 265 feet up - the highest I've had the Phantom thus far. She'll be reaching new heights now that spring has arrived, finally. I've posted the full flight video HERE. Now, it's off to get caught up on comments, and work on Page 25 of the Girls' adventures. Thanks for dropping by, and for all your comments and support!

It'll go over 1000 feet up - but the FAA would spank me if I take it over 400! LOL!

Oh, man, I was your 13th viewer of your flight on YouTube. I'm still all stirred up by Mendelsohn's music! Enjoyed this virtual experience immensely. And since we got our own special backyard flight, this is all the better...265 feet, etc.

Great shot Rod, one can see the paparazzi using these at some of these celebrities weddings where they are on the other side of the fence.. Next Minute 30 copters come over the wall.. No more privacy now unless indoors behind closed blinds..
