We saved a swan on the country park once. The other swans were trying to drown her, it was horrible to see. She was alone as her mate had been killed by fishing line. She only had one wing. & he so protected her. Boy were we frightened of him, he ruled the lake. If he saw the girls swimming, he would walk across the water at a rate of knots, to see them off. We were very aware of him :o) She was rescued by us NOT by the useless RSPCA but a swan rescue group. Last time we heard she had found a new home & mate. Your swan pics are so beautiful. x
