Description
We were rather disappointed when we visited this Heronry at Swell woods , Somerset,
this was the only pic I was able to get of a Heron. high up in the Nest, you can just see its head

I would not want to disturb it and have dive bombing my head! makes sense they would need a heavy duty nest

Super shot Pat :) Had a heron on my shed roof a while back. It must have come up from Clennon Valley Nature Reserve, just down the road from me.
