Description
Yesterday I saw a hawk on the ground on the flood plain. Next thing I know he's flying overhead carrying a snake to a nest. I think there are two chicks in there. Here are the parents.

Great to see such a thing and get a pic of the parents on nest as well. Lovely birds. We recently had a posse of misc. small birds shouting at a c. 1m long spotted bush snake high up in our Avecado tree - took quite a while to spot the snake, but sadly I missed the photo op. when it steadily moved out of sight.
