I'm a creative type, originally I made things out of plastic, cardboard, leather, wood and metal but nowadays creating on computer is less messy and there is no need for more shelves to put all the finished (and part finished!) things on.
I've been a 3D modeller since there was 3D software, I drew plans in pencil and pen before home computers were around so it was natural for me. Currently I model in Blender but making people is too much work - Poser and Daz (and all the great artists here!) now allow me to make really neat scenes with characters in them. Â
I always hoped to make a whole animated SF movie someday but I just don't have the time. I'll settle for a good comic for now . . . . .
The pic is me in home made Time Police uniform circa 1985 (Sorry, I am retired from the Teeps now -Â I can't go back and save your friend or grandmother! :) )

I love the look of this place. Very palatial in scale and the neutral tones of the walls and floor. It sets off his red shorts and shoes very nicely. You did a great job with his expressions. Lighting is always a pain as far as I'm concerned. I've spent two days trying to get a scene to work because the lighting doesn't want to work with the main prop. :-(

Ah, I see what you mean by the selfie picture, could be someone caught in a pompei/herculaneam type event one supposes. Sorry I am unable to take you up on the offer of rigging your petrol pump. There are however people who seem to know how to do these things- I am thinking of the amount of 'eze' pose type products out there. Perhaps ask one of them, or possibly do some reverse engineering :)
